Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

1. Program Overview

Royal Plugins operates an affiliate program allowing approved partners to earn commissions by referring customers to our WordPress plugins and services.

The program is managed through Royal Affiliate Pro on my.royalplugins.com.

By joining the program, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions in their entirety.

2. Commission Structure

The default commission rate is 30% on all sales referred through your affiliate links. As your referral volume grows, you qualify for higher commission tiers:

Commissions are calculated on the net sale amount (after any discounts, before tax). Commissions are earned on both initial sales and all subsequent renewals for the lifetime of the referred customer.

3. Cookie & Attribution

When a visitor clicks your affiliate referral link, a tracking cookie is set in their browser with a duration of 60 days.

We use a last-click attribution model, meaning the last affiliate link clicked before a purchase receives credit for the sale. If a visitor clicks multiple affiliate links from different partners, the most recent click determines attribution.

4. Payment Terms

• Payments are processed monthly via PayPal or Stripe
• Minimum payout threshold: $50
• If your balance is below $50, it rolls over to the next month
• Payments are processed on the 15th of each month for the previous month's confirmed commissions
• Commissions are confirmed after a 14-day refund window has passed

5. Promotional Guidelines - What You CAN Do

• Write honest reviews and comparisons on your blog or website
• Share affiliate links on your social media channels
• Include links in email newsletters (with proper FTC disclosure)
• Create YouTube videos, tutorials, or walkthroughs featuring our plugins
• Share on WordPress communities and forums where affiliate links are permitted

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your affiliate account:

• Spam of any kind, including unsolicited email, social media spam, or forum spam
• PPC bidding on "Royal Plugins", "GuardPress", "SEObolt", "SiteVault", "ForgeCache", "FormForge", or any Royal Plugins brand names or variations
• Cookie stuffing or forced clicks of any kind
• Incentivized clicks such as "click my link to win..." or similar schemes
• Misleading claims about plugin features, pricing, or capabilities
• Coupon/deal site promotion without prior written approval from Royal Plugins
• Self-referrals by purchasing through your own affiliate link
• Auto-redirect or pop-under links that trick visitors into clicking
• Browser extensions that inject or overwrite affiliate cookies

7. FTC Disclosure Requirement

All affiliates must include an FTC-compliant disclosure when promoting Royal Plugins products. This is a legal requirement, not optional.

Your disclosure must be clear, conspicuous, and placed near the affiliate link -- not buried at the bottom of a page or hidden in small print.

8. Termination

Royal Plugins reserves the right to terminate any affiliate account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these terms and conditions
• Fraudulent activity or suspicious referral patterns
• Extended inactivity with no referrals

Pending commissions below $50 will be forfeited upon termination for cause. Affiliates may voluntarily leave the program at any time by contacting us.

9. Modifications

Royal Plugins may modify these terms and conditions at any time. Affiliates will be notified of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email.

Continued participation in the affiliate program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Tax Responsibility

Affiliates are solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes on earned commissions.

• US-based affiliates earning $600 or more in a calendar year will receive a 1099 form
• International affiliates are responsible for compliance with their local tax laws and reporting requirements
